Trevor Dudar Head Professional

Hometown: Stilwater, Minnesota

Born and raised in Stillwater, Minnesota. Graduated from Northwest Missouri State University in Business Management & Marketing, while playing collegiate baseball. Got into the golf industry in 2020 and started teaching and coaching as a PGA Professional in 2023. Became a PGA Member in 2025. Happy to be apart of The Villages Community and being an asset for years to come.

Bob Hendrix Golf Staff Lead

Hometown:Bettenforf, IA

I was born and raised in Iowa. Upon graduation from Iowa State University with a degree in Civil Engineering, I spent 20 years working in the utility industry for Iowa-Illinois Gas and Electric Co. and then MidAmerican Energy Co. After obtaining my MBA and IT certifications, I transitioned to HyVee Inc, a regional grocer, retiring in 2016. We love to play golf so my wife, Patti and I decided to move to The Villages so we could enjoy golf year-round. We moved to The Village of Hawkins in early 2022, thinking we would be snowbirds; however, upon deciding to live year-round in Florida, we moved to The Village of Moultrie Creek in 2024. We have 3 children and 7 grandchildren all living in Iowa. I joined the Evan Prairie team in March 2024.

Russell Fent Golf Staff Lead

Hometown:Calvin, OK.

Originally from Calvin, Oklahoma. Russell and his wife Laura have lived in The Villages since 2019. Russell joined the US Army after high school. He spent his working career as an engineer in the printing and newspaper industry. He holds a Master of Science degree in Operations Management from the University of Arkansas and a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from Southern Illinois University. He loves to play golf and has been working for the Golf and Tennis division since 2022..

Terry MercerGolf Staff Lead

Hometown:Largo, FL.

I am originally from Largo, Florida and have lived in the Village of Bradford, with my wife Anne, since June 2021. As a child, I moved from Florida to Pennsylvania and then to California with my family. I spent 34 years working at the Department of Veterans Affairs prior to retiring at the end of 2021. The last 20 years of my career were spent as the Information Technology Manager at the Atlanta VA Regional Office. I have a son, a daughter, and a cat. My wife and I love to go on cruises and see the world. Antarctica is the final continent that I have yet to visit. I started working with the Villages Golf and Tennis at Belle Glade Country Club and transferred to Evans Prairie in January 2025.

Paul OKeefe Golf Staff Lead

Hometown: Boston, MA.

Originally from Boston, Paul began his Villages journey 5 years ago, purchasing his first house in Polo Ridge. Paul worked for the Golf Staff at Tierra Del Sol and Southern Oaks before moving to Lake Denham and becoming a lead when Shallow Creek opened up in June of 2024.Paul now lives in the Village of Collier and is looking forward to supporting the team at Evans Prairie Country Club, perhaps one of the most scenic courses in our community. In his prior career, Paul led a team of professionals that designed and equipped hospitality and restaurant venues across the country. Married to the love of his life -who also works for the Golf Department, Paul and Christine have 5 children and 2 beautiful grandchildren, Teagan Riley OKeefe and Ewan James OKeefe. When not supporting the team at Evans Prairie, Paul loves the opportunities provided in The Villages to stay fit and active. He is also an avid golfer who is confident he will shoot his age within the next 20 years
