Trevor Dudar PGA Professional

Hometown: Stilwater, Minnesota

Born and raised in Stillwater, Minnesota. Graduated from Northwest Missouri State University in Business Management & Marketing, while playing collegiate baseball. Got into the golf industry in 2020 and started teaching and coaching as a PGA Professional in 2023. Became a PGA Member in 2025. Happy to be apart of The Villages Community and being an asset for years to come.

Douglas (DJ) Cruise Golf Staff Lead

Hometown: Brooklyn, NY

I was born and raised in New Lenox, IL. Upon graduation from high school, I enlisted into the US Army and became a Military Policeman. After my military tour was completed, I became an Illinois State Trooper. After 5 years as a State Trooper, I took a job with the Metro-Dade Police Department in Miami, Fl. I spent 6 years working for Metro-Dade as a Detective on a Crime Suppression Team (CST). In 1989, I relocated back to Indiana with my family, where I took a sales job with a company out of Chicago, IL. I spent the next 27 years working for Enpro, Inc, a sales organization, spending 20 of those 27 years as a District Manager for the company. In Feb of 2015, I purchased a home in the Village of Gilchrist and officially retired in December of 2017, enjoying the Village lifestyle and golfing as much as I could. In February of 2019 I took a position with the outside Golf Staff at Evans Prairie. I worked serval jobs at Evans, including Championship Starter, Bag Drop, and Ambassador. In Sept of 2025, I transferred to Cane Carden Country Club for an outside staff position. On December 6th, 2025, I became a staff Lead with the team at Cane Garden.

Bob Hendrix Golf Staff Lead

Hometown:Bettenforf, IA

I was born and raised in Iowa. Upon graduation from Iowa State University with a degree in Civil Engineering, I spent 20 years working in the utility industry for Iowa-Illinois Gas and Electric Co. and then MidAmerican Energy Co. After obtaining my MBA and IT certifications, I transitioned to HyVee Inc, a regional grocer, retiring in 2016. We love to play golf so my wife, Patti and I decided to move to The Villages so we could enjoy golf year-round. We moved to The Village of Hawkins in early 2022, thinking we would be snowbirds; however, upon deciding to live year-round in Florida, we moved to The Village of Moultrie Creek in 2024. We have 3 children and 7 grandchildren all living in Iowa. I joined the Evan Prairie team in March 2024.

Terry MercerGolf Staff Lead

Hometown:Largo, FL.

I am originally from Largo, Florida and have lived in the Village of Bradford, with my wife Anne, since June 2021. As a child, I moved from Florida to Pennsylvania and then to California with my family. I spent 34 years working at the Department of Veterans Affairs prior to retiring at the end of 2021. The last 20 years of my career were spent as the Information Technology Manager at the Atlanta VA Regional Office. I have a son, a daughter, and a cat. My wife and I love to go on cruises and see the world. Antarctica is the final continent that I have yet to visit. I started working with the Villages Golf and Tennis at Belle Glade Country Club and transferred to Evans Prairie in January 2025.

Robert Moore Golf Staff Lead

Hometown: Fort Wayne, IN.

I was born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Fort Wayne, IN. Upon graduating from Northrop High School, I enlisted into the US Navy, traveling the world onboard the USS Shenandoah AD-44. After my military tour was completed, I became the Recreational Coordinator at The Fort Wayne Juvenile Treatment Facility. After 5 years there, I spent the next 20 years working for Norfolk Southern Railroad, retiring in 2020. Moved to The Villages in 2021 and was hired as inside staff at Southern Oaks and also worked as Starter, Ambassador and Carts. I worked there 4 years then transferred to Woodlands, now at Evans Prairie. I really enjoy Golfing, Cycling and playing Pickleball. When asked what I love most about living and working in The Villages, its meeting so many wonderful people from all around the world, hearing the interesting stories on how they found The Villages.
